History
Frutaria has always maintained a nursery for its own production. It began in the 70s as a private nursery to supply our own estates and it soon became a nursery for selling rootstocks to other nurseries. It was called Viveros Santa Inés and it had long nursery experience, with field of outdoor experimentation, on different estates, working directly with the R+D department of Frutaria.
The increase in our portfolio of varieties made us consider planting a bigger nursery with international projection and in 2019 the Frutaria Life project began. Coinciding with the acquisition by the varietal improvement business Agro Selections Fruits.
